Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller will be at the SSJC

The SSJC is excited to announce that internationally renowned speaker Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller will be at the SSJC for a series of lectures, classes and will also be speaking at a Shabbos lunch  during the last  Shabbos of October (24/25 October.)

Rebbetzin Heller is as an outstanding scholar of Jewish Studies as well as a gifted lecturer, she has been a full-time faculty member of Neve Yerushalayim College in Jerusalem since 1980. Her areas of expertise include textual analysis of Biblical literature and Jewish philosophy with an emphasis on the teachings of Maimonides and Maharal. She is also particularly well known for her courses devoted to the role of women in Judaism and analyses of the lives of women in the Bible.

 We are now turning to the community and seeking sponsors for this event. For a donation of at least $100 you will have the knowledge that you will be assisting us to deliver this weekend of programming.  One  donor is so excited that the SSJC is hosting this event that they have  given us a matching grant challenge. This donor will match all donations and meal tickets up to a total of $3,000!

The top seven sponsors will  have an opportunity to dine with the Rebbetzin at the luncheon. This is a rare opportunity to spend time with one of the most inspiring educators of our generation!

The October 24  luncheon, consisting of a main, vegetable, side and desert, will only cost $18/adult for SSJC membera and just $20 dollars for non-members. The cost for children between 5 and 15 is only $10 and children under 5 are free. Payments in excess of these amounts are tax deductible.
